Coroners Service is investigating two deaths in Chemainus on Vancouver Island.Photos from CHEK News show police taped off a small office in an industrial area Friday at the end of Hope Place in North Cowichan, B.C., about 60 kilometres northwest of Victoria.WorkSafeBC said it was made aware of an incident in the area around 4 p.m. Friday. RCMP attended the scene but have not responded to requests for comment.Mosaic Forest Management — which operates across Vancouver Island — said in an emailed statement that the incident occurred overnight at an independent contractor’s facility.”As this matter does not involve Mosaic employees or lands, it is not our place to comment,” the company said.The contractor was Kaatza Group, a forestry and logging company, according to a company spokesperson in an emailed statement.Police taped off an office building with signage for Kaatza Group in Chemainus, B.C., on Friday.
