Mandy Edwards said the man was arrested in the general area where he was first reported to have been seen with the firearm.Article contentShe said that was the first incident that was reported to police, and she hadn’t heard of any other incident being connected to man before he was spotted.Article contentEdwards said no shots were fired during the incident. Residents saw a significant police presence in the area during the investigation.Article contentBy mid-afternoon that there was no word on charges.Article content“The arrested man has been taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries,” Edwards said.
