(CBC)Saskatchewan RCMP are investigating the death of a 29-year-old woman found in a Meadow Lake parking lot Friday morning. Just before 9 a.m. on Friday, RCMP received a report of an unresponsive person near the junction of Highway 4 and First Avenue W. in Meadow Lake, about 250 kilometres northwest of Saskatoon.Officers found the 29-year-old woman, from Waterhen Lake First Nation, unresponsive. She was later pronounced dead at the scene, RCMP said in a Saturday news release. Her family has been notified, police said.RCMP say her death is considered suspicious, and investigators from the Saskatchewan RCMP major crimes unit have taken over the file. They’re asking who noticed any suspicious activity in the area of Highway 4 and First Avenue W. on Friday morning, or who has information related to the woman’s death, to contact RCMP by calling 310-RCMP.
