(Tyson Koschik/CBC)Two separate crashes closed down stretches of Winnipeg’s Perimeter Highway on Tuesday morning.Two people were sent to hospital after the first crash, which happened in the southwest, near Oak Bluff, just before 10 a.m. One person was airlifted in critical condition and the other person was taken by ambulance.The crash closed the westbound lanes between Highway 2 and Highway 330. Traffic was rerouted north to McGillivray Boulevard or south through the community of La Salle.The highway was reopened around 11:30 a.m.The second crash occurred just before 11 a.m. on the north Perimeter and closed the eastbound lanes from Pipeline Road to McPhillips Street.No information has been provided about injuries in that one.The lanes were reopened around 12:15 p.m.
