Article contentAs firefighters responded to the small brush fire on the property at about 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, Joyce said, “a report of a second small fire call came that was directly next to the farmhouse.” Article contentThat fire was in garbage bags, Joyce said. Article contentBoth fires are under investigation, and anyone with information is asked to call RCMP. Article contentOakhill firefighters were called to the garage fire at the farm property just after 11 p.m. Thursday. They called for assistance from nearby fire departments. Article contentJoyce said on the weekend that the blaze in the building, which was more of a shed, was investigated by the fire department and determined to be electrical in nature, involving an extension cord. Article contentOn July 25, RCMP were called to the farm after the owners discovered someone had broken in overnight and turned off the ventilation system.
