(David Bell/CBC)Nova Scotia RCMP have closed the book on a firearms theft last summer with the recovery of four guns near a school in Whycocomagh, N.S.In a release Tuesday morning, police said the four firearms were located on the ground last Thursday. They were rusty and covered in grass. RCMP have linked the weapons to a break-in in Whycocomagh last year.Just before midnight on June 26, 2024, police responded to an alarm at a business on Highway 105. They determined that multiple firearms had been stolen from the business.Police searched the area and recovered five guns and a quantity of ammunition.
