Published Apr 22, 2025 • Last updated 12 hours ago • 1 minute readA motorcyclist is dead after a two-vehicle collision in Lawrencetown on Monday. – RCMP Photo by FileA motorcyclist is dead after a collision in Halifax County on Monday.RCMP, firefighters and paramedics were called to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Lawrencetown Road and Gammon Lake Drive in Lawrencetown just after noon.In a news release, police said the Econoline van was traveling south on Gammon Lake Drive and the Yamaha motorcycle was westbound on Lawrencetown Road when they collided.The operator of the motorcycle, a 65-year-old man from Three Fathom Harbour, was pronounced dead at the scene. The 59-year-old man driving the van was not injured.
