We obviously want to get back to that game five again that we ultimately lost last year, but that takes step-by-step, day-by-day improvement. That will always be in the back of our minds as to what we’re working towards, but it’s just about daily improvement and preparing yourselves each day for that moment again.” Article contentIt was a game five played against the Halifax McDonald’s at the Halifax Forum in late March, where the Weeks had a 2-1 lead with a little over seven minutes remaining. However, the McDonald’s would get the equalizer, and then the winner with less than two minutes to go in the contest, to earn the Nova Scotia title.  Article contentA local team that did win the provincial title last season was the Pictou County U15 Major WearWell Bombers. Many of those players are in camp with the Weeks this year, joining a strong group of returning players, as well as other hopefuls from different teams.  Article contentArticle contentMacLennan talked about having the graduating Bombers in camp. Article content“Obviously, some talented players and I think anytime you can potentially add players who have had experience in big moments and big games, and were successful in those moments, that only helps your group,” he said.  Article content“At the end of the day, you like to have players who have developed winning habits and focused on the winning details; so, it was nice to see them have that success last year and hopefully they can contribute to our success this year.” Article content As they did often in the game, the Weeks pounce on a loose puck after an offensive zone draw. Photo by Richard MacKenzie /The NewsArticle contentArticle contentDIFFICULT DECISIONS Article contentBut having such a strong group to choose from means there will be some tough decisions for MacLennan and the rest of the coaching staff.  Article content“Everyone has such pride and passion and wants to play for the program and in this league,” he said. “There are a ton of talented kids and a ton of kids who have a great work ethic and attitude.
