Both charges stem from an incident on the evening of Sept. 12 on Highway 39, just northwest of Weyburn. Two vehicles travelling near each other were struck by gunfire.Myers was in the passenger seat of her friend’s SUV as they returned to Weyburn after a day in Regina when a bullet entered the back end of the vehicle, passed through the back seat and struck her. The Crown dropped the original charges and laid the new charges on Nov. 12, when the matter was officially moved to Weyburn.
