Mondays start off with Brilliant Labs electrifying experiments at 10 a.m. We’re off to Connaught Square on Tuesdays at 3 p.m. for story time in the park (in the library if it’s raining). Wednesdays at 3:30 p.m., Creative Kids Club offers crafty afternoon fun. The week will end with a bang (hopefully not a real one) with messy science on Fridays at 1 p.m. For tweens ages 9-12 creativity lab is Thursdays at 10:30 a.m. with cool crafts and spectacular science experiments.Article contentFor our littler folks, we have our regular weekly programs. Families are also welcome for family movie afternoons on Sunday at 1 p.m. July 27 will be The Bad Guys, Aug. 3 is Kung Fu Panda and Aug. 10 is Encanto.Article contentFor teen programs for ages 13-18, there is teen volunteer club on Mondays at 4 p.m. Coming into the home stretch is Pride bingo in July. Pick up a bingo sheet and fill in a row or a column for a chance to win a movie night at Cineplex. Teen creative hangout happens on Sundays at 1 p.m. July 20 is polymer clay figurines, July 27 is rainbow bracelets and button making, Aug. 3 is heat press T-shirts (yes, we do have a T-shirt heat press in our makerspace) and Aug. 10 is needle-felted clothing patches.Article contentAdults don’t be sulky — we have stuff for you too. Grab an Adult Summer Library Challenge ballot and complete 10 challenges to enter for a prize. If you’re looking for some creative programs, on July 20 at 2 p.m., student painters will be available to guide you in creating art. Please register for this program at 902-368-4642. Our weekly Fibre Arts Club is Tuesdays at 1 p.m. — drop in for some crafting and chatting. The Creative P.E.I. Artmobile will be on hand Aug. 6 at 10:30 a.m. Crafternoon on Aug. 13 at 1 p.m. will feature decoupage jars and the monthly sewing club will sneak in by a nose on Aug. 14 at 5 p.m.
