Officers also seized the license plate, which belonged to a different car that had also been stolen separately from the Corolla.Article contentWhen RCMP executed a search warrant at the Hillcrest Avenue residence, they found other stolen items like a small tractor, a mowing deck, a wood splitter, an all-terrain vehicle, and an air compressor.Article content“Police also located equipment believed to be used by Bell Aliant and associated to phone lines,” said RCMP in a press release on Sept. 4.Article content“Investigations into recent thefts and damage to phone lines around Colchester and Cumberland counties are ongoing, and investigators are exploring any connection between the equipment seized and these investigations.”Article contentTwenty-five-year-old Bible Hill resident Nathan Gary Dean was arrested and charged with two counts of possession of property obtained by crime and two counts of failure to comply with a release order.Article contentHe had a first court appearance at Truro Provincial Court on Sept. 3.Article contentA 19-year-old woman was also arrested and released on conditions, pending a scheduled court appearance in October at Truro Provincial Court, said RCMP in their release.Article content
