The driver of the car, who is from Dorval, Que., is charged with careless driving causing bodily harm and failing to stop for a school bus with its lights activated.Police released him from custody and he’s due in court in Pembroke on Dec. 15.Rolphton is not far from Mattawa, where five year old Adam Ranger was fatally hit by a truck pulling a trailer after Ranger got off his school bus in front of his home in February 2000. Billboards with Ranger’s face on them, reminding drivers to stop for buses, line various parts of the highway.
