Photo by ContributedCharlottetown police say they have charged a 39-year-old woman with murder after an investigation into the death of her infant daughter.In a news release, the police said the three-month-old girl died March 20 at the IWK Health Centre in Halifax.The infant was being treated for injuries sustained during an alleged incident in Charlottetown on March 16, the police said.Cassie Acorn has been remanded into custody and will appear in P.E.I.
