The city did not respond to a request for comment Thursday from CBC News asking whether those 15 people had been housed before crews demolished the encampment.Main Street Project has worked with the city to help house people in encampments through its own programs and Manitoba’s homelessness strategy.A spokesperson with Main Street Project was unable to provide a response to a CBC News request ahead of publication Thursday.Cynthia Flett was one of over a dozen living at the encampment in Winnipeg’s Mostyn Park since spring.
