The trial before Justice Krista Zerr began Nov. 3, with the Crown and defence closing their cases earlier this week.The jury began deliberating Wednesday.Braun was accused of sexually assaulting six female patients between January 2010 and July 2021. He pleaded not guilty to all charges.The not-guilty decision came on the earliest allegation, from between 2010 and 2012.The offences upon which he was found guilty were between 2012 and 2021.Sentencing will take place in the new year.There is a publication ban on all the evidence heard during this trial to protect another upcoming court proceeding.
