The posted speed limit in the area is 80 km/h.Article contentA traffic stop was conducted, and the driver — a 36-year-old man— was ticketed for excessive speeding. He was also issued a seven-day license suspension under the Highway Traffic Act.Article contentThe RCMP reminds the public that speeding, dangerous and aggressive driving, distractions and impairment are all common contributing factors to serious and fatal collisions, and they are all choices that put the driver and others on the roads at unnecessary risk.Article content“Road safety is every driver’s responsibility.
