Police, firefighters and paramedics all responded and performed life-saving measures but the man succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead. Article contentArticle contentThe man has been identified as 70-year-old Brian David Johnson from Halifax. Article contentPolice have not said how Johnson died, whether he was found inside or outside, or whether he was at his own home or someone else’s. Article contentRichmond Street is a short road between Barrington Street and Devonshire Avenue. It has only an apartment building and four homes, two of which appear to have been converted to apartments.
