(CBC)ANAVETS (3584 Portage Ave.)Doors will open at 9:30 a.m., with guests expected to be seated no later than 10:30 a.m. Entertainment will follow the service and run from 12:45 p.m. to 6 p.m. Minto Armoury (969 St. Matthews Ave.)Although the Minto Armoury is closed for construction, a Remembrance Day ceremony will be held outside in front of the building from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Attendees are asked to dress appropriately for the weather.Vimy Ridge Park (821 Preston Ave.)The Royal Winnipeg Rifles host this ceremony at Vimy Ridge Memorial Park. The program begins at 10:30 a.m.St. Boniface Cathedral Cemetery (180 De La Cathedrale Ave.)The ceremony will begin at 10:30 a.m. at the foot of the World War I soldier monument within the cemetery.St. Norbert Cemetery (Ste. Therese Avenue next to St. Norbert Collegiate)The St. Norbert ceremony begins at 10:45 a.m. This event is also livestreamed on their YouTube channel.Ceremonies at Royal Canadian Legions in WinnipegBrooklands Weston Legion (1613 Logan Ave.)A small outdoor gathering to honour veterans. The ceremony begins at 11 a.m.St. James Legion 4 (service at Bruce Park, 1966 Portage Ave.)The ceremony will be held at Bruce Park. A parade will form on Lyle Street, west of the Assiniboine Gordon Inn, around 10:50 a.m. A reception will be held at the branch after the parade.The legion will remain closed until the ceremony and parade are over.Charleswood Legion 100 (Oak Park High School, 820 Charleswood Rd.)The service will run from 10:05 a.m. to 11:20 a.m.Norwood St. Boniface Branch 43 (134 Marion St.)The ceremony begins inside the banquet hall at 11 a.m., with lunch to follow. Doors open at 10 a.m.South Osborne Branch 252 (426 Osborne St.)Doors open at 10 a.m., with the service beginning at 10:45 a.m. The lounge opens at noon and a light lunch will be served at 1 p.m.Transcona Branch 7 (117 Regent Ave. E.)A parade will take place at 10 a.m., from the branch down Regent Avenue to Leola Street, south on Leola to Pandora Avenue E. to East End Arena.
