(Ben Nelms/CBC)Police say they found human remains inside a burned car on a rural road northwest of Kamloops, B.C., on Saturday.Tk’emlups Rural RCMP said in a statement that they responded to reports of a vehicle fire on Tranquille-Criss Creek Road on Aug. 23 and found the burned car, which is believed to be a stolen black 2019 Volkswagen Golf.No further details identifying the victim have been released by police, who are seeking public information as they look into the death.”If you have any information regarding the black, 2019 Volkswagen Golf, dashcam footage or video surveillance in the area of Tranquille-Criss Creek Road between 3 p.m. on [Aug.] 22 and 7 a.m. on [Aug.] 23, 2025, please contact the RCMP,” said Staff Sgt.
