Photo by Wendy Elliott /Valley Journal-AdvertiserThe two Wolfville School teams placed sixth (Sea Rangers) and ninth (Lego Lobsters). The Wolfville School kids “stand out to me at competitions and workshops. I always have fun interactions with them,” Fisk said.The Wolfville Robotics teams, which are now based at Horton High School, did very well in Robofest, which is for Grades 5-12. The Wombots placed fourth while The Robats came seventh. There were 15 teams in the senior division.This year was the 19th anniversary of the First Lego League in Nova Scotia. The program guides youth through science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) learning in Grades 4-9.
