(Trevor Pritchard/CBC)Line 2 has to close between Mooney’s Bay and South Keys stations to allow Rogers crews to do some kind of emergency repair work near its tracks, according to the City of Ottawa.The memo late Sunday night from acting transit general manager Troy Charter said the repairs are near Walkley station and are “not due to any Line 2 system issue.”R2 replacement buses are taking riders to stations between South Keys and Carleton instead. Trains are running between South Keys and Limebank stations, and Bayview and Mooney’s Bay.Transit riders in the region Monday are also working around a near-total shutdown of Gatineau’s STO because of a strike by some of its workers.
