(CBC)OC Transpo says train service to Ottawa’s airport has resumed on Line 4, after it was suspended overnight due to a stopped train.A “mechanical issue” stopped a train and halted service along the four-kilometre spur line at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, a spokesperson for OC Transpo told CBC. “Despite troubleshooting efforts, teams were unable to resolve the issue and remove the train from the station. Line 4 remained out of service until 9:30am Monday when crews were able to move the train to the maintenance facility for further investigation,” the spokesperson said.Service to the airport continued throughout the suspension via Route 105 airport bus service. The interruption coincided with the significant snowfall of the season, with Environment Canada recording 11.7 centimetres of snow at the airport on Sunday. The long-awaited extension launched in January.
