(frantic00/Shutterstock)A 42-year-old man is dead after he crashed with a pole’s guy wire while riding an ATV in northern Manitoba on Friday, RCMP say. The crash happened in Pimicikamak Cree Nation, about 530 kilometres north of Winnipeg, Mounties said in a news release on Monday. Cross Lake RCMP received a report of an off-road collision that happened just after noon on Main Street. The man, 42, was travelling on the road without a helmet when he turned into a ditch and crashed with a guy wire located near a hydro pole, Mounties said.The driver was taken to a nursing station, where he died from his injuries, police said.
