Police said two cyclists — a 78-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman — were travelling west on Highway 3 when a vehicle hit them from behind.First responders were already on scene and helping the cyclists when officers arrived, RCMP said. Both cyclists were taken to hospital. The man suffered minor injuries and was released, police said. The woman remains in hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.RCMP officers have charged a 35-year-old man from the RM of Stanley with careless driving under the Highway Traffic Act, according to the release.
