(Sean Kilpatrick/The Canadian Press)A 32-year-old man is facing multiple theft charges after police say he stole more than $10,000 worth of meat in dozens of shoplifting incidents across Winnipeg over a more than four-month period.Winnipeg police say there was a first rash of 11 thefts between April 19 and June 11, during which more than $3,000 worth of meat was stolen in 11 different shoplifting incidents at retail stores across the city.After a property crime unit investigation, police arrested a 32-year-old man at an Atlantic Avenue home, in the St. John’s neighbourhood, on June 21, a Thursday news release from the Winnipeg Police Service said.He was charged with 11 counts of theft under $5,000, as well as one count of failing to attend court. He was detained in custody and later released, police said.Between June 30 and Aug. 31, more than $7,000 worth of meat was stolen in 20 more shoplifting incidents, according to police.The same 32-year-old man was arrested again.
