(Surrey Police Service/Facebook)Police say a man is dead after a shooting in Surrey, B.C., on Thursday night.Officers were called to a shooting near the 10800 block of 129 Street around 7:40 p.m., according to a press release from the Surrey Police Service.Officers found a man suffering from life-threatening injuries. He died at the scene despite life-saving measures, according to police.”While the motive is still under investigation, the incident does not appear to be random in nature,” said Sgt. Tige Pollock in the release.Police say it is Surrey’s fourth recorded homicide of the year.Surrey police say the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) has taken over the investigation. Anyone with information or relevant dashcam footage to contact IHIT.
