(Francis Ferland/CBC/Radio-Canada)A 21-year-old man died Saturday after he was found with stab wounds in Alta Vista, according to the Ottawa Police Service. Paramedics responded to the call at 12:32 a.m. on Saturday, an Ottawa Paramedic Service spokesperson told CBC. They found the man in the 1700 block of Russell Road with “possible stab wounds” and in cardiac arrest. The man was transported to hospital where he was later declared deceased, paramedics said. He was their only patient at the scene.Police identified the victim as 21-year-old Raphael Atende in a press release Saturday morning. “This is the fifteenth murder in Ottawa this year,” the release read.
