(Shutterstock)A 44-year-old man has been charged after nearly two dozen vehicles — all red — had their tires slashed in the Manitoba city of Selkirk.Police received multiple reports of a man using a knife to slash tires in a parking lot around 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 14.A man started damaging tires in the lot of a business on Jemima Street, police said. He then walked around the neighbourhood and continued slashing tires on other vehicles.Officers found puncture wounds in 45 tires on 23 vehicles, a news release from RCMP said on Wednesday.Police arrested a man from Winnipeg around 5:45 p.m. The man is charged with 23 counts of mischief and one of possession of a weapon dangerous to the public.An RCMP spokesperson said investigators have not been able to determine a reason he targeted only red vehicles.”There is no explanation,” said Cpl.
