More than 40 firefighters battle the Beaver Lake Stream fire

(Government of New Brunswick)The Beaver Lake Stream fire in Northumberland County remains the lone wildfire burning out of control in New Brunswick.There are 43 firefighters at the scene of the 456-hectare fire, according to a provincial update Sunday.The 204-hectare Rocky Brook fire in Restigouche County is classified as contained, meaning it still has the capacity to leap its boundaries.Thirteen other fires across various counties are being patrolled. The chance of those fires escaping is considered minimal.Central and southern parts of the province can expect some light rain today, says Environment Canada.
