(Robert Short/CBC)New Glasgow Regional Police have charged a local man for online hate speech targeting Jewish communities.According to a news release, police responded on Thursday to a report of hateful messages posted from a residence in the town. A 22-year-old New Glasgow man was arrested the following afternoon. Police also conducted a search and seized  electronic items.The man faces three charges: advocating and promoting genocide.  public incitement of hatred.  willful promotion of hatred. He has been remanded into custody and is scheduled to appear in Pictou provincial court on Monday.
