Jonathan Ouellet-Gendron, 36, had been wanted by Saskatoon Police since May 2022 as a suspect in a first-degree murder after a running gun battle that took place in a residential neighbourhood in Saskatoon. He was also wanted for other Canada-wide warrants for drug trafficking and other gun-related offences.Ouellet-Gendron was arrested by police from the Sûreté du Québec Airport Unit, who were assisted by the Mascouche Major Crime Investigation Division and the Canada Border Services Agency. The arrest took place as he was returning to Canada.In 2023, Ouellet-Gendron was listed as No. 10 on Canada’s Bolo program, which functions as the country’s most wanted list.
