Published Apr 06, 2025 • 1 minute readPhoto by Contributed /THE TELEGRAMOne person has died in a house fire in Victoria County.Victoria County District RCMP, supported by the Nova Scotia Fire Marshal’s Office and Medical Examiner Service, are investigating the blaze in Big Harbour.RCMP said officers and fire services responded to a call about a structure fire at 2:30 p.m. It was at a property on Big Harbour Road.The home was fully engulfed in flames when fire services arrived.An occupant of the house was found deceased.The investigation is in early stages and at this time the cause doesn’t appear to be suspicious.Police are asking anyone with information to call Victoria County District RCMP at 902-295-2350.
