(Natalia Goodwin/CBC)The Ottawa Police Service has identified a man who died after being stabbed in the St. Laurent Boulevard neighbourhood. In a news release Thursday, police say 21-year-old Joshua Qiyuk was found dead on Wednesday morning in the 400 block of Meadow Park Place.Police initially said they were treating the death as “criminally suspicious” in a news release Wednesday, but have now ruled the death a homicide as a result of a stabbing. The Ottawa Police Service wants to speak with anyone with information regarding the incident. They’d also like to hear from anyone with dashcam footage of pedestrians on Aviation Parkway between Hemlock and Montreal roads, from 7 p.m. Tuesday to 7 a.m. Wednesday.
