(Lynda Paradis/Radio-Canada)Quebec police say three people were taken to hospital after a Wednesday night crash on Highway 50 in east Gatineau.The Sûreté du Québec told Radio-Canada the two-vehicle crash happened around the rue des Laurentides interchange around 8 p.m.One of the drivers went into an area closed for roadwork, according to police.Two of their passengers were taken to hospital, police said. One was seriously injured and the other’s injuries are life-threatening.Police said the driver of the other vehicle was taken to hospital as a precaution.The highway was closed for the investigation until around 3 a.m. Thursday.
