He’s brought laughter to community halls, gyms, theatres and convention centres. But when he decided to record his first comedy album, there was only one stage he wanted to be on — the Trailside Music Hall. Live on P.E.I. was recorded by Daniel Ledwell of Echo Lake studios. The one-hour album is available on all streaming platforms and his website.Article contentAugust also brings the return of Patrick Ledwell and Friend, the popular summer series featuring Ledwell and different special guests each night. This year, the friend list has included his longtime Island Summer Review partner Mark Haines. Up next are Liam Corcoran and Nick Doneff of Two Hours Traffic on Aug. 12, comedian Shawn Hogan on Aug. 19, and musician and poet laureate Tanya Davis on Aug. 26.Article contentLedwell comments, “I was raised on the Muppet Show, and that’s part of the feeling I’m going for with these shows.
