(Paula Duhatschek/CBC)A man died Saturday night after he was struck by a vehicle on Highway 15 in the Township of Rideau Lakes, Ont., according to the Ontario Provincial Police.Police received reports around 9 p.m. Saturday that a pedestrian had been struck by a vehicle travelling south on the highway near the village of Elgin, according to a news release issued Sunday morning.The pedestrian was a 43-year-old man from Kingston who was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. The driver of the vehicle was not injured.Police wrote the investigation is ongoing and no charges have been laid. Anyone with information was asked to contact police at 1-888-310-1122.
