This year, the program will include a revived tradition of hosting exhibitions, starting with an array of period costumes styled after fashions from 1864, when representatives from the Province of Canada (present-day Ontario and Quebec), Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Prince Edward Island met in Charlottetown to discuss a political union.
