(Mark Crosby/CBC )One person was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries after being shot by police in Eastern Passage, N.S., on Tuesday.The shooting occurred after Mounties were called at 1:48 p.m. to respond to a report of an assault at a Cedar Lane residence, said an RCMP news release.The release said an officer discharged a firearm and “a person sustained life-threatening injuries consistent with a gun shot wound.”No one else was injured.
