This year, the tour features 11 artists including painters, potters, fabric artists and more. They include a QR code with a map marking the location of each studio.Article contentLater in the month, on Aug. 23 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., artists across town will take part in Paint Pictou, a plein-air event.Article content“You may see them along the waterfront, on the Jitney Trail, or downtown,” the press release states. “Half the fun is finding them.”Article contentThere will also be a gallery set up at 18 Caladh Avenue, near the Vendor’s Village and Hector Heritage Quay museum. Paintings created during the day will be for sale, as well as additional works from participating artists.Article content
