She continues down the road to recovery and lives with invisible disabilities.  Article contentArticle contentArticle contentNot one to let challenges rob her of her dreams, she fulfilled one of those earlier this month by traveling to Paris, where she worked with two fashion designers, John Michael Brewer and A. Kith, as a model during Paris Fashion Week.  Article contentMODELLING IN PARIS Article contentThe opportunity to model in Paris came from a Paris-based designer, Allison Fee, seeing Cameron while she participated in Halifax Fashion Week. Cameron’s agent, Solitha Shortte, had made the connection earlier by sending a video of Cameron to Fee. Article content“I loved it and I’ll be going back in March,” Cameron said, noting she did both model-walk type of work as well as posing for photos, while in Paris.  Article content“I liked walking but really enjoyed the pictures,” she said, adding they were taken around different parts of the city.  Article content“It’s really pretty, a very cool place,” Cameron said of Paris. “I’m super excited to be going back again.” Article contentArticle contentShe was in Europe for almost a week, which included time spent in France as well as England, as she was able to stop in London before heading back home. Article content Corinne Cameron during the media event with RCMP for Canadian Youth Road Safety Week, and the campaign featuring the youth-driven hashtag, #BuckleUpNS, encouraging teens to share why they choose to buckle up. Photo by ContributedArticle contentArticle contentCameron will be back in the traveling mode next month, and while it will not be to such exotic locales as Paris and London, it is a trip that will help her add to her skill sets and potential career as a yoga and Pilates instructor.  Article contentShe is going to be staying with her aunt and her family in Fort McMurray, Alberta.  Article content“My sister and her husband are both educators, and she also teaches yoga,” Cameron’s mom Julie, said of the plan. “(Corinne) is in the process of learning to teach yoga and will do some volunteering in the school with the younger students.” Article contentCameron said she is looking forward to both aspects of her time in Alberta.  Article contentBUCKLE UP NS Article contentPrior to that experience, she had been tabbed by the RCMP in Nova Scotia to help with their campaign in line with Canadian Youth Road Safety Week, which ran from Oct. 20 to 26.
