The event will issue pledge sheets and the team that raises the most money earns bragging rights and their name on the trophy.Article contentTo register and obtain pledge sheets, visit the event Facebook page or email portmorienpolardip@gmail.com. In-person registration and/or submission of pledge money takes place from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on New Year’s Day. The dip happens at 1 p.m. sharp on the Port Morien Sand Shore, immediately followed by a gathering at the Port Morien legion. Stephen’s Hot Sausages and Hotdogs food truck will also be at the site.Article content“Our playground project has seen some progress and we wanted to expand on the good that comes from the dip every year,” says organizer Katherine Snow. “We are so excited to partner with Caleb’s Courage and share their message of bravery and support through adversity and play a small part in their continued efforts.”Article contentSwimmers and attendees are encouraged to embrace the superhero theme in their polar dip attire.Article content
