(Melissa Friedman/CBC)A 51-year-old Quebec man is dead and two other people have serious but non life-threatening injuries after a truck crossed a median, became airborne on Highway 102 in Enfield, N.S., and crashed into another vehicle Sunday.In a news release, RCMP said they were called to Exit 7 at 11:14 a.m. AT after a pickup truck travelling southbound collided with a sport utility vehicle travelling in the opposite direction.The driver of the SUV was pronounced dead at the scene, while his passenger suffered serious but non life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital.The driver of the pickup, a 38-year-old South Carolina man, was taken to the hospital with serious but non life-threatening injuries. He was the only person in the vehicle.Police closed the highway at Exit 7 for around six hours, which caused major traffic delays.RCMP are asking anyone with information or dashcam footage of the collision to contact them or call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).MORE TOP STORIES
