RCMP responded and tried to stop a vehicle, but it rammed a police vehicle before a man got out and fled at about 9:40 a.m. He was arrested shortly before noon on Lakewood Road in Steam Mill, where officers, including members of the emergency response team, were looking for him.Article contentArticle contentArticle contentThe female driver of the vehicle also fled. Police were still on Lakewood Road in Steam Mill looking for her by mid-afternoon. She is described as five-foot-five, weighing about 114 pounds. She has blond hair and green eyes, and was last seen wearing dark clothing. She had a dog with her that appeared to be a pitbull.
