(Mercia Mooseely/CBC)Saskatchewan RCMP say the death of a 25-year-old man from Big Island Cree Nation is being treated as suspicious.On Oct. 11, officers from the Turtleford detachment responded to a report of a seriously injured man found lying beside Highway 21, north of Redcross, Sask. There were no vehicles nearby that appeared to be connected to him.The man, who has been identified as Chance Oseemeemow, was taken to hospital by EMS, but died four days later, on Oct. 15.His family has been notified. Officers are releasing Oseemeemow’s name publicly in hopes of gathering more information.Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes continues to investigate. Anyone who with information is asked to contact Turtleford RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
