He was also intentionally walked three times.Article contentCampbell added a single to go along with his double and finished with two RBI. Sampson had a single and drove in two runs and Brett MacMullin chipped in with an RBI double.Article contentFor the Wildcats, player/coach John Ansara continued his streak with a double and single and two RBI. Veteran Codey Schrider had a two-run double and American import Guerig Octavio had a pair of singles.Article contentArticle contentRight-hander Brett MacMullin picked up the win in two innings of relief work. Lefty Parker Hanrahan went the first five innings and allowed three earned runs.Article contentMitch Brown was the losing pitcher.Article contentIn the first game of the day, the Wildcats secured a series win with a 6-4 victory.Article contentSchrider clubbed a two-run homer, all-star outfielder Colby Turple had two singles and Ansara drove in a run with a single.Article contentVeteran shortstop Chris Farrow had the hot bat for the Sooners with a double, two singles and an RBI. O’Rourke had an RBI double, Jake MacMullin chipped in with a double and Andrew Brewer had a single and two RBI.Article contentJack Gallant was the winning pitcher, with lefty Garrett Nicholson was tagged with the loss.Article contentMeanwhile, on Friday night, another stellar offensive showing from Sooners’ O’Rourke was overshadowed by Sydney’s 12-5 loss to the Wildcats.
