Just long enough for an update and to be rescheduled for another on Dec. 3.  Article contentArticle contentThe court is in the process of trying to secure both a bilingual judge from partners in the New Brunswick justice system and a bilingual Crown to prosecute the case.  Article contentAlso, there was some evidentiary disclosure which was only recently provided to Mbahia’s defence, so they requested time to review it. Article contentAccording to RCMP, Mbahia worked as a teacher in Prince County for three weeks earlier this year before being charged.  Article contentMbahia has pleaded not guilty to the charges against him. A date for trial will be established based on the availability of the bilingual court resources to do so. Article contentThere is a publication ban in place which prevents the sharing of any information which could identify victims in this case.  Article contentArticle content
