He has pleaded not guilty.Braun is standing trial before Justice Krista Zerr. His lawyer is Jay Watson and the Crown prosecutor is Lana Morelli. The trial, set for three weeks, began Monday with jury selection.There is a publication ban on all the evidence heard during this trial to protect another upcoming court proceeding.
