He was held to await a court appearance.Article contentDANGEROUS DRIVINGArticle contentAbout 9:30 p.m. Saturday, June 28, 2025 RNC officers observed two motorcycles driving dangerously through Conception Bay South.Article contentBoth of the motorcycles stopped at a local business, and when the officers approached, both attempted to flee police.Article contentOne of the operators was subsequently arrested on scene. The 23-year-old man was charged with assault with a weapon, dangerous driving, flight from police and resisting arrest. He also provided a breath sample into a Roadside Screening Device which registered an amount of alcohol above the provincial limit. The operator had his drivers licence suspended, vehicle seized and he was transported to the St John’s City Lock Up to appear in court in the morning.Article contentThe investigation into the second motorcycle operator is ongoing and there are charges anticipated against them.Article content
