(OPP)Police have charged a man with first-degree murder in the death of Giles Dagenais, whose body was found two years ago northwest of Brockville, Ont.On Thursday, Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) announced the charge against 58-year-old Ronald Gough of Smiths Falls.He’s accused of murdering 66-year-old Dagenais, whose body was found on July 31, 2023, in his home in Toledo, Ont., about 30 kilometres northwest of Brockville.Gough was arrested on Thursday, remains in custody and is due back in court Nov. 25.OPP recently put up billboards in communities such as Smiths Falls, asking the public for information to aid their investigation.On Thursday, OPP said they are grateful to the public for “the valuable information they provided throughout the investigation.”
