(Dave Chidley/CBC)Police now allege a 30-year-old from the Montreal area was impaired by alcohol when their SUV collided with a motorcycle near Cornwall, Ont., Saturday afternoon, killing a father and seriously injuring his son.Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) said officers from the Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry detachment responded to reports of a serious collision on Chapel Road near County Road 18 around 4 p.m.A 47-year-old man from the village of Martintown, Ont., died and a 14-year-old boy who had been on the motorcycle was hospitalized with serious injuries, OPP said in a statement Sunday.The driver of the SUV was arrested.On Monday, OPP announced three charges against that driver: operation of a vehicle causing death, operation of a vehicle causing bodily harm and operation of a vehicle while impaired by alcohol.The accused is a 30-year-old from La Prairie, Que., across the St. Lawrence River from Montreal.That crash occurred less than 24 hours after another fatal motorcycle collision in eastern Ontario, southeast of Chesterville.
